About CAC

A home for connection, contribution, and community voice.

Canadian Arab Congress is being shaped as a national community organization with a local, people-first presence.

01

Our purpose

CAC brings Arab Canadians together through cultural connection, charitable initiatives, and civic engagement. The organization’s public language will continue to evolve with its founders, board, and community.

The vision is national, but the work begins locally: in relationships, gatherings, partnerships, and practical opportunities for people to contribute.

02

How we work

We aim to listen first, convene thoughtfully, and partner with people and organizations already doing meaningful work.

That means making room for different generations, regions, backgrounds, and levels of experience—and communicating clearly about what CAC can and cannot yet offer.

  • Community-rooted programming
  • Constructive, nonpartisan civic participation
  • Clear governance and accountable communication
  • English, French, and Arabic access from the beginning
03

What people should feel

Every CAC experience should make participation easier. People should understand why the gathering or initiative exists, how they can contribute, and what will happen next.

  • Welcomed without needing an introduction
  • Respected across differences of age, origin, and perspective
  • Able to move from interest to meaningful participation
04

Leadership & governance

Leadership biographies, board details, policies, and annual reporting will be published when CAC has approved them for release.

As the organization develops, public governance information should make responsibilities, decision-making, and accountability easy to understand.
